Observations:

  • Wadi Hamra (Gilf Kebir, near start of green vegetation), March 2000
  • Wadi Abd el Melik (Gilf Kebir, bay in upper NE branch), November 2000
  • Wadi Abd el Melik (Gilf Kebir, upper NE branch), October 2004
  • Gilf Kebir (mini-oasis in the "Gap"), March 2010

    Numerous individuals of the species were noted on all visits to the upper reaches of both Wadi Hamra and wadi Abd el Melik in the Gilf Kebir. All were seen close to live Zilla spinosa shrubs. None were seen at similar habitats but with other vegetation in Karkur Talh or other valleys at Uweinat.
