Observations:

Karkur Ibrahim (Jebel Uweinat), adult, October 2003

Wadi Abd el Melik (Gilf Kebir), adult, October 2004

Wadi Wahesh (Jebel Uweinat), 4^th or 5^th stage nymph, March 2013

The two adult specimens were seen in localities separated by more than 200 kilometres. All sightings were near live vegetation and in the early evening, the crickets walking on the sandy wadi floors. No chirping was heared at any observation locality, or elsewhere. In Karkur Ibrahim a Sparassus dufouri was noted at the same general location / time.
