Gryllus bimaculatus
(Common cricket)
The two adult specimens were seen in localities separated by more than 200 kilometres. All sightings were near live vegetation and in the early evening, the crickets walking on the sandy wadi floors. No chirping was heared at any observation locality, or elsewhere. In Karkur Ibrahim a Sparassus dufouri was noted at the same general location / time.
