Nowhere near the size and height of it's big brothers, but still the Erg Admer near Djanet is a proper erg (or sand sea) conveniently close to town. The edges of the erg are no more than 20-25 kilometres to the west of Djanet, offering a first glimpse of 'real' dunes for many visitors, or simply a chance to have fun in the sand. |
