First MFTK Edition 1943

The second book of Kertész, the last title to appear before publishig of the series ceased. It is a treatise on the history of the great navies of the world. Like #60 the title was published by Franklin in a single volume in 1943, however not as part of the MFTK series. Apparently in parallel or very soon after, the title was also released as a part of the series in two volumes, in Classic IV. half cloth binding. Both editions appear to have the same pagination and table of contents intended for two volumes, the single volume version has the two parts bound together and lacks the MFTK series title. A dust jacket is known, however it appears to be of the non-series single volume edition, it is not known if the two volume edition had the same. This title in MFTK binding remains the scarcest in the entire series.
