While supposedly common in the hot summer months, we have observed only a single camel spider (Solifugae) in the southern branch of Karkur Talh one evening, during a spell of uncommonly hot weather. This individual was definitely of the Galeodes genus, however the species (over 170 in the genus) has not yet been identified.
