An account of the north polar research expedition of Hans W. Ahlman, transtaled and re-worked by Vörös, a professor of geography and archivist. Like all other titles in the 10 volume 1934 series, it exists in both Classic III. and Classic IV. full cloth bindings, an owner's inscription from the latter confirming both the publication date and that the two versions were released in parallel. It is one of the few titles of the 1934 series where the dust jacket is known.
