The account of the author's seven years of travels in Ecquador and Brazil in the period 1894-1901, translated and re-worked from the English original by Gyula Halász. This is one of the commonest titles in the Classic III. cover version, however it appears to have had only a single edition, all known copies are identical and have Lampel listed as publisher. There is some uncertainty regarding the publication date, in the trade usually 1932 is given, however from 1931 onwards Franklin is listed as publisher in all titles, a 1930 date appears to be more likely. The title also exists in a very scarce Oval logo binding, all versions were believed to have been issued with a dust jacket.
