#13
Steinen Károly dr.
Közép-Brazilia természeti népei között
(Karl von den Steinen, Among the Natives of Central Brasil)
First Edition 1913
Second Edition 192?
Account of the author's second expedition to the region of the upper Xingu river in central Brasil in 1888-89, translated and re-worked from the German original by dr. Zsigmond Bátky (author's name translated to Hungarian equivalent as customary in those times). This was the last title to appear in the Classic I. cover version with a scaled pattern imprint. Technically the Classic I. (plain) cover versions are first edition too as the interior is identical in every way to the other two binding variants, but they clearly date to the early-mid twenties. In the mid-late nineteen twenties (exact year unknown as no date on title page) a second edition was prepared, with the illustrations dispersed among the text in the first edition moved to seperate plates.
