With normality slowly returning to international travel, we had a full expeditions schedule this year. After a rocky start in Sudan (the planned expedition to Uweinat had to be abandoned mid-trip due to a series of calamities) we re-visited Namibia in June, then had two splendid back-to-back expeditions to the Tassili n'Ajjer in Algeria followed by a return to the Ouri plain (Eastern tibesti, Chad) in November.
