During our stay at Wadi Sora in March 2004, a common redstart landed in our camp one morning, and proceeded to stay with us for several hours, sipping the offered water, and scavenging about the camp. It was not affected by human presence, even hopped onto our stretched legs if we stayed still. This was the only occasion this species was noted.
