MUFK #9

CARTER, Howard
Tut-Ankh-Amen koporsója és múmiája

(The Tomb of Tut-Ankh-Amen)
First Edition 1929

The account of the clearing of the tomb chamber and the opening of the sarcophagus and coffins of Tut-Ankh-Amen, and the description of the objects found. Translated from the 1926 English original by Dr. Balassa József, it is essentially the continuation of the previous Carter-Mace title. It is known in the Classic II. and Classic III. bindings with MUFK series title, no plain crimson version or dust jacket is known. Of note, the title was also released by Franklin in very fine black full cloth binding with elaborate impressed gilt decoration (similar to that of the half cloth version of MUFK #6), however this is not considered to be a part of the MUFK series.
