Cocculus pendulus
A single example of this sahelian species is known from the Libyan Desert. It was found in the main wadi of the northern extremity of the Gilf Kebir, a low plateau to the north of Wadi Gubba. The noted example appears very ancient, certainly hundreds of years old, a possible legacy of a wetter period.
