Passer hispaniolensis

Observations:

  • Wadi Sora (western Gilf Kebir), October 2005
  • Wadi Hamra (Gilf Kebir), October 2005

    Sparrows were noted several times in the north western Gilf Kebir, both at Wadi Sora and Wadi Hamra. They were always seen in the morning, scavenging about the campsite. (Species identified by Uffe Gjøl Sørensen)
